Beyond what you submit through the form, this website's hosting infrastructure ordinarily processes standard technical information needed to serve any webpage — such as your IP address, browser and device type, and request timestamps. This is routine server-level processing common to operating any website; we do not access it for any additional purpose, combine it with your form submission, or use it to build a profile of you. We do not currently use analytics or tracking tools of any kind.
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about your project. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
We use third-party service providers for website hosting, content delivery, and form processing necessary to operate this website. Currently, contact form submissions are processed and stored using Netlify Forms, a service provided by Netlify, Inc., a company based in the United States. This means your submission may be processed on servers outside Switzerland and the European Union. Netlify acts as our data processor for this purpose; you can review Netlify's own privacy practices at netlify.com/privacy. If we change service providers, we will update this section to name the provider actually in use.
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google's servers means your browser sends a request directly to Google, which may include your IP address, as part of how the font is delivered. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy. Google Fonts is the only Google service used by this website — we do not use Google Analytics, Google Maps, reCAPTCHA, or any other Google product that processes visitor data on this site.
We keep your contact form submission only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and, if we begin working together, to maintain a record of our engagement. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason.

This is intended to reduce the likelihood that searching for the site owner's name together with Switzerland, Schwyz, Pfäffikon, or Ourfolk Studio leads to this website, without hiding legally required information from visitors. This cannot guarantee the owner's name will never appear anywhere in search results, since that also depends on other websites and services outside our control.
